KUCHING Sept 30 – Sarawak’s 30,000 football fans, expected for the Malaysia Cup semifinal match against Negeri Sembilan here on Tuesday, have been reminded not to bring in canned and bottled drinks into the stadium.

Sarawak FA competitions committee deputy chairman Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi said the items are prohibited from being brought into the stadium.

He said security inside the stadium will also be beefed-up.

“The stadium gates will be closed exactly 15 minutes after kickoff. Fans are thus advised to turn up early,” he said here today.

Dr Abdul Rahman said the Sarawak FA has decided to maintain ticket prices for the match at RM7 and RM15.
