LONDON: Arsene Wenger is ready to axe several of his Arsenal stars after admitting the shock defeat against Hull left him feeling “physically sick”.
Wenger has rarely been so angry during his 12-year reign at Arsenal as he was in the aftermath of Saturday’s 2-1 loss at the Emirates Stadium and he will make wholesale changes for tomorrow’s Champions League clash against Porto.
“There will be changes certainly,” Wenger said. “I will see how many, but there will be changes. There were enough ingredients to make me physically sick.
“What we delivered was not good enough and we know that. I believe that is more down to the mental side than anything technical. If we had the same level of commitment as Hull we would have won the game, as the technical advantage is with us.”

I think this is the responsibility of Wenger to put the club performance as a priority. It’s a wake up defeat for Arsenal. Hopefully they can bounce back soon.
